Who has been watching me from this home?  

This had me wondering as I looked all over the house. The rooms were empty as I looked at each one. Everything around the house was dusty and old. Filled with cobwebs, I decided to step up to the spiraling staircase again for the fifth time that night. The creeky noise of the stairs filled the room as I took each step.
I’ve walked mostly all over the square foot space of the home a few times to find no type of soul in sight. Every nook and cranny of the home was bare, save for a few crumbs in the kitchen.
“Hello?” I yelled through the home. I was only met with my echo.
Who has been watching me from this home?    
I felt bothered by this question as I decided to leave the house. I let the door shut behind me as I walked the porch steps. My house wasn’t far, only a few steps away. I went home to decide what to do in this situation. I didn’t feel scared, but I did feel comfortable as I walked up to my room.
 
Just I shut my bedroom door, I felt a strange and eerie feeling wash over me. I looked over my bedroom window, a distant figure was standing near my neighbor’s upstair window. I went up to my window to get a closer look. A man and a woman were looking straight at me with their gaunt faces.
Who are these people?
 
I just left from there! My face turned pale and now I’m really scared. I decided that I would call the police.
Something is not right…
