I hide amidst the rolling clouds
Because it’s where I find you most
Your jokes and voice now memories
But here you are my friend

I miss you every single day
And I watch and wait and pray
That I may catch a glimpse of you
Somewhere beyond the moon

But amidst the rolling clouds
I see you finally
As I sit and stare outside quietly
I see your smile on the horizon
As day slowly fades to night

And I stare at your smile endlessly
So it doesn’t disappear from sight
This moment is mine forever
Hoping now your eyes
Will be visible
As the horizon
Now turns into night

Sea breeze clears my mind as the waves washes the tension away. Belize my native land that breathes creativity and uniqueness with every ray of sunshine. Written words my way of standing up and speaking out.
