Show Fur Mamas Some Love

Fur moms don’t get enough thank yous in the month of May. I may not have pushed a tiny human out of my lady parts, but I’m still a badass, caring loving fur mama. I love my fur babies.
Here are a list of reasons to show thanks to every dog mama in May.
My dogs love me, and I love them
I love my babies because they are very happy that I’m in their lives. And I’m just as happy I’m part of their lives.
I Make Them Feel Safe
I make sure to provide love and support for my darling furry angels. When my dogs hear a scary loud noise, like fireworks in the summer or when a crazy person burns the heck out of a grilled cheese sandwich and sets off the smoke alarm in the kitchen, I will swoop in and cuddle them.
I Deal With Gross Puppy Breathe
My dogs smell really bad, but I love them. And cuddle them.
My Dogs Get Gift on Special Days
My puppy babies get gifts on holidays and their birthdays and after those awful trips to mean vet. I will also go to the drive through and get myself an iced latte after my doctors visits. But doctors can be scary, for anyone. We all deserve treats after being poked and prodded, wouldn’t you agree?
I will get down on the floor and play with my puppies.
I’m not afraid to get down on the floor, play tug-of-war, roll around and even growl with my fur kids.
If you’re reading this list and shaking your head, remember that an animal needs a human for everything. Humans have hobbies, we have work and school, and many people have others in their lives. Animals look to their humans for love, joy, and comfort.
