Tribute to Fall

The dying sun and crisp air
cast an orange glow upon the trees
whose limbs turn bare,
as they come apart with the fall breeze.
Stores are now filled
with apple cider and cozy eats.
Autumn is here and summer is chilled.
Kids pick out their costumes for tricks and treats.
The fall season is nothing but magic
as we enjoy nature’s seasonal death.
Soon enough, we feel a winter so tragic
Full of barren trees and icy breath.
For, when winter comes, there will be no warmth at all
But, for now, bask in the glory of fall.
