Have you ever started a sentence and wanted to immediately jump off of a cliff? That’s the story of my life today. There could be many reasons for this occurrence. You could be stressed and tired. Life can be stressful and can change at any moment. My sister had a baby, and my uncle passed away in a month. Overnight, England had a new monarch.

A person you run into on the street could be your new best friend. Don’t let those annoying voices of self-doubt mess up your day. Breathe; whatever is stressing you out is valid. Honor your feelings. You can do that without letting them dictate your life.

Last week, I was in a weird mood. My headphones broke so I couldn’t listen to anything. I was looking for my charger for something else and I found a spare pair of headphones. The day was amazing after that. Think of it this way: Have you ever had an awful day? Everyone has, but have you ever had someone you love bring you something special at the end of a bad day? It always makes the day better because someone took the time to think about you. Life throws curveballs.

Sometimes they hit you in the head, and you have to sit out for a few innings. There will always be something that knocks you down. You may need to catch your breath for a minute. You could need help to get up. Accidents happen, loss happens, but you can take time to heal and hopefully find the good in the experience. Maybe that was a bad first sentence, but maybe it led you to a great story. Life has a way of leading you to where you are supposed to go. A bad experience or sudden loss can teach you something you may never expect.

Breathe, process your feelings, and find comfort in those around you. Take life one day at a time. You never know what could happen.
