Easy Goodbye

For everyone hello there’s a goodbye

For every door closed there’s one open

When you say hello please know

There’s a goodbye

A lot of what we know is this:

We move through time

Endlessly as if we forgot

It all ends

Opportunities come and go

Take what you can

As the door closes

Look through the one you open.

Look through but remember

To press forward.

Some goodbyes will be harder than others.
