A Love Song, Just For You

How can I start to describe
how I feel about
you without sounding love prone?

Shot by Cupid’s arrow
A sickness of the heart

You remind me of honey
Divine radiance

You set the standard
for summertime love.

Graceful disembarks,
No sign of a quick trip

Honeydew and salted hair
Children of the water see the world differently

Love stained clothes,
They cling to your being as if they were latex.

Oops I’ve done it
A love song, written just for you.

Jordan Melvin

Jordan pace is a human who he would most likely describe as "Perfectly Imperfect" Link: https://www.amazon.com/dp/1675729077/ref=mp_s_a_1_1?keywords=perfectly+imperfect+by+jordan+pace&qid=1578613445&sr=8-1 I write a lot about my views and opinions on the world, Being relatable has been a strong suit of mine but I have found it as something I never wanted to wear in the first place No current credentials I am a current aspiring poet and the world through my eyes is very gray but showing light shine through molded clouds. I have a very deep understanding of the human brain and mortality as a whole which allows me to sympathize without fully grasping the situation or intent.
