The image is of a three quarter moon in a misty daytime sky

I am leaving my blue lagoon
and flying to the moon

Another lonely moon-struck guy
soaring high in the lunar sky

I am hooting a mournful noise
and losing my inner poise

I am neither a wise old owl
or a bold eagle on the prowl

I am on a mission to the moon
to find her unused dessert spoon
