You said with your actions

I am not worth saving.

You said with your actions

You never loved me.

You said with your actions

You would let me drown in my thoughts.

How then am I supposed to trust you?

Why would I let you in again

To the darkest depths of my soul?

What am I to do with all this wasted love

That I am drowning myself in?

Do I bury it alive,

Covering it with heartache,

Or drown with despair?

What shall I do with this,

This love that has no purpose?

I will gather the remnants

And scatter them as ashes.

Perhaps then, your lies will dissipate

And all will be carried away.
