Miss You

I ain’t gonna be that easy to leave
I’m gonna make you miss me

I’m gonna make you miss
the way I laughed
and the sound of my voice

I ain’t gonna be that easy to leave

I’m gonna make you miss
the way my hand fit in yours
and the way I lit up when you entered a room

I ain’t gonna be that easy to leave

I’m gonna make you miss
the way my arms feel ‘round your neck
and you’re gonna feel the ghost of my lips

I ain’t gonna be that easy to leave

I’m gonna make you miss
the color of my eyes
and the smell of my perfume

I ain’t gonna be that easy to leave

I’m gonna make you
check for a message
and hope at every turn

I ain’t gonna be that easy to leave

I’m gonna make you
lie ‘bout where I am
and make you wish for another chance

I ain’t gonna be that easy to leave

But the truth is
I think I might miss you
more than you might miss me
